I would like to display powerpoint on one vga monitor and presenter view on the other vga monitor. The computer I'm using has dual monitor output one dvi and one vga. I would like to use the dvi output for a projector to show video's and split the other output to run the 2 vga monitors for showing powerpoint presentations. What would I need to buy to make this configuration work? I've tried a cable splitter but it doesn't show powerpoint presenter view.
Thank you!

Hello Scott,

There is an easy solution to your problem.
You will need a VGA to DVI adapter so that you can run the second VGA monitor on the DVI port.
A VGA splitter will not work. The most that will do is show the same thing on both screens.
Here is a link to the Adapter:

After you get the adpater, plug in the monitors. Then you will need to enable the extra monitor in
the Control Panel Display Settings. Here is a complete tutorial on how to enable extra monitors.

you just need to set the video card to clone mode.
